Thought: Padre Pio once told one of his spiritual children: "In all the free time you have, once you have finished your duties of state, you should kneel down and pray the Rosary.  Pray the Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament or before a crucifix."

Thought: St. Catherine of Siena to Blessed Raymond Capua: "I saw the pains of Hell and of Purgatory, [which are] so great that no tongue of man is able to declare them.  I saw also the bliss of Heaven and the glory of my Divine Spouse, which only to think of fills my soul with a loathing for all things that are in the world."  (The 33 Doctors of the Church, p. 403)

 Spreading Hope

Young adults in our community that believe in the power of the Holy Trinity and the messages of our Blessed Mother Mary were inspired to start our Scapular distribution events, which are now called Spreading Hope. Our Mother has been diligently and vigorously trying to uphold the one true faith of Jesus Christ. Our beautiful Catholic Church has been under terrible scrutiny, and some of which has been with just cause, but do not let this take away from our love of Jesus Christ, sacraments and the sacramentals. This would include the Brown Scapular that was given to us by St. Simon Stock of the Carmelite order on July 16, 1251 and the Green Scapular of St. Vincent de Paul's Daughters of Charity, which was given to Sister Justine Bisqueyburu in Paris, France, on Jan. 28, 1840.

The Community of Hope has dedicated its efforts to bring these powerful gifts that were given to us by our Blessed Mother. We distribute these gifts because of our awareness of the state of the world and for the love of the Holy Trinity and our Blessed Mother. The world has forgotten and fallen away from these gifts, thinking of them as something of the past. With genuine devotion to them, they will bring many graces with them and propagation of our faith. Our mission is to be an outlet for Mary, to be a place where those can find a community that is devout and orthodox in their Catholic beliefs. We are called to serve God and our community, and there is nothing more important than the salvation of ones soul.
